Born in London and raised in Australia, LA based Alan White has won every major international advertising award from the Cannes Lions to CLIOs, and was the first director to win an Emmy for "Outstanding TV Commercial." Alan has worked with iconic brands, including McDonalds, Nike, Chevy, Apple, Coca Cola, Expedia, AbbVie, Mercedes, Abbott and Ironwood Pharmaceuticals.
Alan has directed two critically acclaimed Australian films, "Erskineville Kings" starring Hugh Jackman, and "Risk", which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, starring Jason Clarke.
He most recently completed "The Life and Death of Westerly Windina", for Amazon. Chronicling surf icon Peter Drouyn and his controversial metamorphosis into Westerly Windina, which Beau Willimon (House of Cards) is producing. Other films include AFI Fest selection “Broken”, starring Heather Graham and the Lionsgate thriller "Reclaim", starring Ryan Phillippe and John Cusack.
Alan is currently attached as the Executive Producer and Director of heist thriller “Days Like This” with Ambience Entertainment. Also with Ambience, Alan has written and is set to direct the upcoming feature, “Stoked!”, based of the memoir by surf legend Bob Mctavish.
